Britannia Christmas Craft Fair
If you are looking to see what Gourmet Crafter is all about in person you can check it out at this year’s Britannia Christmas Craft Fair in Vancouver. I’ll be there with Sheryl from Anyspun Thread and I’ll have all sorts of Gourmet Crafter goods. We’ll be knitting up some Christmas ornaments while we man our booth so drop by to fondle the yarn and say hi! I’ll also have a little sneak preview of some new colours, coming to Etsy shortly….
I’ll be there on Saturday but Sheryl will have Gourmet Sock Friday-Sunday.

Humming and Hawing
It seems that today I have nothing to show and I really think I have a pretty good idea why: I haven’t FINISHED ANYTHING. I have started many a project, even made good headway, but I haven’t actually finished anything blogworthy in the last couple of weeks. The good thing is that I anticipate an incredibly productive week in the near future when all of these projects come to a close, are photographed, and I feel really accomplished as a knitter. It’s the one upside to knitting many projects at the same tims. I even had intentions of finishing some great stuff but got side tracked by a certain someone.
Debbie Stohler (author of the wildly popular Stitch and Bitch books) is coming to Urban Yarns on Wednesday and I’m desperatly knitting a small sweater to show off in time. It’s a super cute sweater but a few of the bobbly stitches are driving me nuts and I think I’ve come to hate intarsia. Fair Isle is great and I get it and it works and it looks like it should (more or less) but intarsia just won’t sit like I want it to!!!!! Anyhow I’m hoping to show off some really solid work in the next few days (at least a sweater by Wednesday).
